Tools of the Dominatrix

I loathe the phrase ‘impact play’ as it stems from American sterility. I espouse the joys of traditional corporal punishment. This post occurred to me yesterday; are all my punishment implements the same when it comes to the psychology and the pain they impart? So, here is my attempt at describing all the tools of a Dominatrix, with an emphasis on corporal punishment.

Rattan Canes

These make up the bulk of my canes. I do have a cane made of synthetic material which doesn’t do it for me, plus it over the top painful. No the bulk of canes are formed from Rattan, Kooboo Rattan and Dragon Rattan being the most common.

Canes come in many forms, from the short crook handled for the nurseries of olden times, these can be used on the buttocks while bent over the auntie, matron, governess lap.

Then I have several school canes. These, are in the main crook handled and come in three main shocks of pain; Junior, Senior and Reformatory. Above that you will find the Singapore Prison Cane (which I do not possess… yet).

More controllable are the straight handled canes. I have several favourites including one with solid silver end.

Pain Factor

This is dictated by the thickness, the density and therefor the flexibility of the cane.

My crook handled smoked Dragon cane is currently being broken in by will subs. It is easy to swing, being quite light yet the density imparts sharp pain that digs into the flesh and bursts into your soul.

Used in school scenes and leaving delightful red welts on pale buttocks. I cannot decide which I like best, my canes or my hand.

The Loopy Johnny is an usual cane that is twisted back on itself therefore having at least two parts that make contact, therefore twice the pain.

My Hands

I thought I would mention this ‘tool’. Always with me and always ready to spank. My hands have been likened to titanium. You will also note that I have a reputation as one of the hardest hand spankers in London.

Straps & Belts

At the top of the straps is the Mississippi Prison Strap (I have yet to purchase). These are huge, heavy and make a terrible impact. I do have several Canadian Prison Straps which are lighter and easier to wield.

As you see in the pictures I have a variety of straps, belts and tawses, including the excoriating ‘Devil’s Tail. I also have many belts made for holding up trousers.

Pain Factor is various depending on the thickness of the leather and how hard I strike.

Slippers & Plimsols

Traditional domestic and school implement beloved by teachers, matrons and prefects. I have quite a collection for use over my lap or you bent over touching your toes.

Pain Factor, a whack that depends on the tread. Both can make an impression through clothing.

Hairbrushes and Paddles

Wood has no give in it so the back of a hairbrush or a specially made wood paddle is not for beginners or faint-hearts. The force travels through you in waves.

Pain Factor, best avoided as these are so unforgiving.

The Carpet Beater

I have several of different lengths and they deliver strong stings and whacks like have slipper have wooden paddle.

Pain Factor is novel and depends greatly on the force applied.

Floggers and Riding Crops

A variety of floggers and riding crops adorn the walls of my chambers. Each with it’s own bite. They differ in one regard that is the spread versus accuracy. A flogger will spread it’s thongs and can safely be used on the back as well as the buttocks. The riding crop has a neat ‘flap’ at the end so can be used with great accuracy. Both can be used with effect on a penis or vagina.

Pain Factor, not as sever as you first think. A flogger gives pin pricks of pain over a wide area while the riding crop is a stinger on one particular place.

The Martinet

This was gifted to me by my sub, Mr Fluffy. The thongs were stiff through lack of use but now, after several weeks are quite flexible. What I like is the long handle gives great leverage and the leather thongs spread out and can deliver pain to both buttocks at once. Mr Fluffy squeals delightfully when I use it on him.

Pain Factor, quite hard to deal with as the pain is spread by multiple thongs. A delight for some.
