Welcome to my BDSM glossary. In effect this is more of a BDSM Guide.
On this page you’ll find everything to do with BDSM terms with an emphasis on Corporal Punishment which is my speciality and my delight.
You will note that some terms may be on my website, it does not mean that I carry them out. You will refer to my Mistress FAQs to understand which services I do offer and which I DO NOT.
Also included are popular spanking magazine titles and details about corporal punishment implements. Although not exhaustive I believe it gives a ‘taste’ of my sessions.
This glossary is not restricted to just BDSM terms, you’ll also find entries concerning fetishes and role play which I adore.

A
Abduction Play
For those that like a kidnap scenario. The kidnapped person is usually taken to a play space for more BDSM activities.
Abrasion Play
The use of material like sandpaper on the skin. Brushes with stiff bristles also come into play.
Aftercare
It is important to offer support and a debrief after a session. This is practically important for a newbie. You will find that I practice thorough aftercare. We will chat about what you enjoyed and did not so we may make our next session even more exciting and fulfilling.
Age Play
I do enjoy age play. The most popular being myself as an Auntie or a Mummy with my client reporting misdemeanours and being punished.
Anal Hook
The sub is hooked in the anus for greater control. Hooks should be metal and easy to clean.
Anal Training
Best accomplished with high-quality lube. The sub has their anus stretched in a progressive manner. Longer and thicker dildos are used which the sub learns to accommodate. A Mistress enjoys dominating you externally and internally.
Animal Play
The sub pretends to be an animal and is ‘trained’ by the Dom.
B
Ball Busting
Inflicting pain on the male genitals by hand, kick or cane.
Ball Gag
Fitted to the sub’s mouth. Useful to bite on when the caning commences.
Bastinado
A cane is used on the soles of your feet. This CP method is very painful and should not be undertaken lightly. The pain is intense and there seems no protection for the sensitive soles of the feet.
BDSM
Like most generalisations the term, being bondage and discipline, domination and submission, or sadism or masochism, does not cover the extent of what a professional session with a Mistress can entail. That’s why you are reading my glossary!
Belt/Belting
I like nothing more than taking your belt off and applying that belt to your bottom. A swishing sound it can get through to a sub very quickly. Are you ready for a belting?
Bench (Punishment)
Come in many forms. My custom punishment bench is a thing of beauty. You’ll find it very comfortable. You kneel on the legs and lie down making your buttocks easy to punish and spreading your legs for easy access to your cock and balls. Clamps, pegs and even needles can be applied. And, of course, you can be pegged for my pleasure. Straps can be applied to remove the option of any movement
Birch/Birching
I offer this option but I need plenty of notice and an extra fee. A handmade birch is created for each sub. The birch has quite an impact, the birch rod can be made from birch, willow or hazel. Each with a unique pain. They can cut the bare buttocks and are for heavy players.
Birching Block
Although I do not possess a birching block we can improvise. A birching block was used at Eton College and also known as a ‘flogging block’. The block looks like two steps. The miscreant kneels on the first step and reaches over the second step and puts his hands on the floor.
Bit (Gag)
A type of gag like that of a horse’s bridle. The bit is usually covered in rubber and gives you something to bite on.
Blushes (Magazine)
One of my subs favourite spanking magazines. High-class photography, attractive models and great stories. A magazine to look out for and spend time looking at shapely well-stripped bottoms, especially enjoyable for lovers of spanked schoolgirls.
Bondage
Can be with rope or straps and usually over a custom punishment bench like mine.
Bondage Shears
Used to cut through bondage tape, see below, a quick way to release a sub. A bit like medical shears, they have blunt tips.
Bondage Tape
An effective way to quickly restrain a sub, say to the nearest heavy bit of furniture.
Bottom
Not a favourite term of mine. I much prefer the word sub. A respectful submissive is one I enjoy punishing.
Breath Play
A form of play when one participant controls their breath. This may include choking or holding the breath.
Breeding
Unprotected sex to ejaculation. A regular forced bi fantasy.
Bukkake
A term from Japan. Multiple men ejaculate over a woman
Bull
Rather an American term for the man having sex with the sub’s partner.
Bull Whip
Not something I have in my collection, yet. A single tail whip with a handle and usually measuring around four feet (120cm).
Butt Plug
A tapered dildo inserted anally into the sub. The bottom of the dildo is tapered. We don’t want to lose it do we?
C
Canadian Prison Strap
A fearsome instrument used on experienced clients. It delivers a heavy and yet sharp pain when used on the naked buttocks. Made with very heavy leather and usually around 24 – 25 inches by around 3 inches, they have holes in normally eight so to defeat air pressure. These straps will mend your ways.
Canes/Caning
There are many different types of cane, more than you would think, from the junior crook handled school cane to the Singapore Prison Cane they can inflict wonderful pain. See below for Dragon Canes, Koobo Canes and Synthetic Canes. I have my favourites, which you will experience.
Cat O’Nine Tails
A whip with, you guessed it, nine thongs. In the Royal Navy this was used as punishment on the bare back. The Cat’s tails would be knotted to inflict blood-drawing damage.
CBT
Cock and Ball Torture is anything to do with genital stimulation. That is rather extreme stimulation and this can take more than one form. From simple ball and cock spanking to the use of pegs and clamps. Weights can be added to the clamps and they swing when corporal punishment of the buttocks is added. A delightful twist shall we say. The use of medical, one use, needles can also be worth trying if you are brave enough.
C.E.I. Cum Eating Instructions
The Dom directs the sub to consume his own cum or a.n.other, sometimes this can be done by messaging or phone or even WhatsApp voice note.
Chambers
An old sounding word which is rather endearing. As a Mistress I refer to my play space as my chambers. Once a sub enters, he or she is mine.
Chastity
Denial of sex. This can involve the male member or even the female genitals being locked in either a cage (for men) or a belt (for women).
Clover Clamp
A nipple clamp with a lever mechanism. Usually they come in pairs and attached to a chain. Both clamps are applied and the chain then becomes another form of pain and control for the Mistress.
Cock Caning
Administered to an erect member, weights can be added to your ball sack. A light cane is used to beat the penis. Painful and yet very stimulating I’m told. I enjoy inflicting punishment on boys who lack the discipline to contain themselves.
Cock Ring
Used usually to maintain an erection. Some versions come with little spikes inside the ring.
Cold Caning
Most CP sessions will start with a warm up. A cold caning is one that takes place without any warm up. Therefore the pain is more intense as you have not been ‘warmed up and so no endorphins will have been released. Some clients live for a cold caning. If I judge you able I will certainly administer a cold caning on your clothed or naked buttocks.
Collared or Collaring
Literally a collar worn by the submissive to show they belong to a Dom. For some this is the ultimate level of submissive commitment.
Consent
Very important. When you visit my chambers for a CP session you are in consent. We will have agreed the extent of the session and punishment and that consent is absolute.
Contract
An arrangement that outlines the rules and structures of a BDSM relationship.
Corporal Punishment
My favourite activity. From hand-spanking to the birch. The tawse, the slipper and the paddle, if fact anything that can inflict pain on the physical body, usually the buttocks.
Cuckold
A fantasy for some men who enjoy the idea of watching their partner have sex with another in front of them.
D
Derriere (Spanking Magazine)
One of those spanking magazines that evoke great nostalgia from the committed spanking enthusiast, according to my sub Mr Fluffy. Not quite upto the standard of Blushes, Uniform Girls or Janus but still worth investigating. Packed with stories and a variety of girls being punished.
Dollification
Made into a living doll. A doll completely for the Dom’s ‘use’.
Dominatrix
What I am. Used for a dominant woman. A little old fashioned these days but just the use of the word thrills some of my clients.
Dragon’s Tail
A refined and painful corporal punishment instrument. Made with leather with a handle it tapers to a point. In my sub’s experience it is very painful and how they struggle when I produce my expensive and elegant example.
Discipline
A catch all word and a word that can provoke great excitement for a sub. The word is usually subscribed to physical discipline or rather corporal punishment, with hand, cane, strap etc.
Dom
An abbreviation for dominant, who could be male or female or other.
Domestic Implements
One of my joys is adapting domestic implements for corporal punishment. Have you had a large wooden spoon used on your bare bottom? You’ll be surprised by the pain. I also have several carpet beaters, also painful as they cover the whole bottom.
Domina
A dominant who is female and embraces a feminine gender role.
Dominance and Submission (D/S)
A term for the behaviours or rituals that a submissive person follows in a BDSM relationship. In D/S, one person usually has power over another.
Dominant
A person who has the authority in a BDSM relationship or scene.
Dragon Canes
These are intense and beautiful. I have a number in my collection, both crook handled and straight. The straight Dragon cane usually come with a secure and easy to grip handle. The Dragon punishment cane is made from the best quality peeled Dragon Rattan. I have a number of thicknesses and judge which is best for your session.
Drop
The physical or emotional exhaustion that takes place after a scene. Both tops and bottoms may experience a drop. Crying, feeling sad, and physical shaking are all signs of a drop. This is why Aftercare is so important so those in the session can gradually come down from the high of the intensity of a BDSM session.
Dungeon
A location where BDSM play takes place (usually in a person’s home or at a club). My set up is a domestic ‘chamber.’ BDSM dungeons are present in many of our major cities. The equipment is varied and you pay per hour. There are even B&B establishments offering dungeons as part of the hire.
Dungeon Monitor
A person (or group of people) who supervises BDSM activities at a club or play party to make sure the acts are safe and consensual.
E
Edge Play
BDSM acts that are considered more intense or dangerous, such as breath play.
Edging
Bringing the sub to the edge of orgasm, but not allowing the orgasm.
Electro
The use of items like a Violet Wand to shock a sub, usually applied to the genitals.
F
Face Sitting
The Mistress sits on the sub’s face.
Februs (Spanking Magazine)
Another wonderful spanking magazine from the publishers of Janus. Packed with girls and women being punished, slightly more erotic than the other spanking magazines.
Female Dominance
When a woman takes the dominant role in a BDSM relationship or scene.
Female Submission
BDSM activity in which a woman submits to a sexual partner.
Fessee (Spanking Magazine)
These magazines had distinctive covers, usually a coloured drawing of a woman in revealing lingerie. Another more erotic spanking magazine like Februs.
Fetish
An obsession with a specific experience, body part, or object.
Fetish Wear
The clothing worn by those who practice BDSM (usually leather attire or other role-playing costumes).
Figging
The insertion of a freshly peeled piece of ginger into the anus.
Financial Domination
This involves a Dom controlling a sub’s finances and spending.
Fire Play
The use of chemicals to briefly flame on the sub’s skin.
Fisting
The insertion of the fist into the anus or vagina. This is NOT something I practice.
Flogger/Flogging
Floggers come in many sizes, from the small, ideal for cock and ball beating, to the full on multi thronged for severe punishment. The tails (also known as tresses or falls) are usually leather which are the most painful but also rubber and suede versions supply less intense pain. It’s usual to use a flogger on your back but they can also be applied to the buttocks.
Foot Worship
A quite common fetish. Where the sub has an erotic attraction for feet, worshiping the foot, kissing it, smelling, massaging, licking, sucking etc.
Forced Bi
The Mistress instructs you show male gay behaviour. In the most common sceanario the Mistress will instruct you to suck her strap-on. This progresses to the man having to suck another man’s cock. Going on till the other sub ejaculates into the mouth of the instructed sub. Pegging is also a part of this scenario. The Mistress will fuck her sub with a dildo.
Forced Orgasm
The orgasm is forced on the sub ‘against’ their will.
Furry
A person who assumes an animal character with the use of a costume.
G
Gags
Take many forms from the ball gag, leather plug and bit gag. There’s also the ring gag, the penis gag, the muzzle, the funnel and medical gags (aimed at keeping the sub’s mouth wide open).
Gates of Hell
A male chastity device aimed to enclose or restrict the penis and balls. Usually made of rubber or leather.
Gender Play
A type of BDSM play when an individual in a scene takes on the role of the opposite gender.
Gimp
A body suit usually made of plastic, pvc or leather. These suits often have holes to access the genitals and anus.
Glory Hole
Commonly found at service station toilets. A hole is cut into the partition in which the penis is inserted in order to receive oral sex or masturbation from an anonymous person on the other side.
Goddess
A particular form of dominatrix. One who centres her relationship with a sub as a deity that has to be obeyed and worshipped as she commands.
Golden Showers
The Mistress urinates on the sub. Best done outdoors in my experience. Golden shower play can also include drinking the ‘golden elixir’ of your Mistress.
Greek (style)
A euphemism for anal sex.
H
Hair Bondage
The hair is secured to restrict movement of the head.
Hard Limits
An activity that a person in a BDSM session absolutely won’t do. A hard limit can’t be negotiated.
Hedonistic
The sole pursuit of what gives you pleasure.
Horse
Used for bondage this can take many forms. One is the type used in gyms for vaulting. Great for a school scene. The sub is bend over, sometimes off their feet for their punishment and sometime secured.
Houseboy
A sub who has domestic duties. Can be called upon by the Dom at any time for sexual use.
Human Furniture
The sub is used in lieu of regular furniture. Commonly as a footstool or as a table.
Humbler
A rather neat device, most often made of wood that clamps around the base of the scrotum and prevents straightening of the legs. Which becomes tricky as the cane strokes build up.
Humiliation
This can take many forms from verbal insults, face-slapping, carrying out menial tasks. All aimed to humiliate the sub and often takes place in front of third parties.
Hypno’ Play
A specialist form of domination using hypnosis to bond the sub to the Dom.
I
Impact Play
A type of BDSM play that involves striking the body. This can be done with a hand, paddle, cane, whip, flogger, or other implement. I have many, with an interest in domestic implements like hair brushes and large wooden spoons.
Informed Consent
Having the ability to give consent. This means being emotionally stable, of the age of consent legally and not being under the influence of drink or drugs.
Interrogation Play
Like a formal police or military interrogation. Often involves physical and/or verbal humiliation.
J
Janus (Spanking Magazine)
One of the most popular spanking magazines of all time, perhaps the most famous. Packed with women and girls getting spanked, caned and tawsed. Wonderful photography with the colour photographs showing red and well stripped bottoms. Readers letters are always worth a read. Japanese Bondage
The common name for Shibari and needing a well-trained Dom to carry out the intricate and rather beautiful use of rope and knots.
Justice (Spanking Magazine)
A slightly down market spanking magazine, in the eyes of my sub. Still very enjoyable for the spanking lover and some hidden gems of picture stories featuring blue gym knickers around ankles.
K
Kane (Spanking Magazine)
Very enjoyable mix of stories and pictures. Well worth looking out for the schoolgirl scenes featuring some delightful models, according to my sub.
Kinbaku (Japanese Rope Play)
A highly elaborate and artistic bondage practice. Best undertaken by a well trained master. The genitals and/ or breasts are compressed by the rope. This can lead to intense stimulation. As the subject is helpless they can be ‘used’ by the Dom.
Kink or Kinky
Non-conventional sexual practices. BDSM is often referred to as kink.
‘Kissing The Gunner’s Daughter’
A practice in the Royal Navy where the younger members of the crew (Midshipmen) were fastened over a cannon. They would then be caned on their bare bottom.
Kooboo Canes
Kooboo is a softer and lighter golden yellow rattan. Distinct from Dragon canes as the rattan has a tendency to bend naturally. Like Dragon canes they come either crook handled or with straight handled and come in a variety of thicknesses. One can choose the exact ‘weight’ depending on the sub’s experience.
L
Leather Mistress
This can take many forms. Usually to do with clothing, leather shoes or boots, skirts, dresses, coats and gloves. The aroma of a woman, her perfume and leather is rather intoxicating.
London Life (Spanking Magazine)
A popular ‘top-shelf’ spanking magazine. Full of delightful models of the era, ready to be spanked and caned.
M
Martinet
Rather like a flogger, this implement was popular in Europe, especially France. It usually has a longer, wooden, handle which makes it easier to apply. The tails should be leather, like mine. A stinging experience.

Popular with my sub due to the old world gymslips and navy blue schoolgirl knickers on display, very collectable.
Masks
Add an element of play, some detachment and also allows you to assume a different character. Variations act like blindfolds, taking sight away from a sub heightens their senses, shows submission and takes them to another level or torment.
Master
The person who has control over a slave in a consensual master-slave relationship.
Male Dominance
BDSM acts when the dominant partner is a man, also called maledom.
Male Submission
BDSM activities when the submissive participant is a man, also referred to as malesub.
Masochist
An individual who likes or becomes sexually gratified by their own pain. In fact, the true submissive craves physical pain.
Matron
Not a current medical position but one that tastes of authority. A dominant Matron is happy to spank and punish her charges. Still used by public schoolboys, especially one that were borders.
Military Scene
Usually, a captured and interrogated sub in the hands of dominatrix in uniform. The sub must answer impossible questions and therefore forfeits his freedom and takes multiple forms of corporal punishment.
Milking
The practice of forcing a male to cum through the penis with prostrate massage without experiencing a pleasurable orgasm.
Mistress
I prefer this term. It is certainly more popular these days and is interchangeable with Dominatrix. A woman of power who dominates a sub in any way she sees fit.
Mummification
The sub’s body is immobilised by wrapping it, usually with layers of cling film or tape. This creates a feeling of total body helplessness and is often a sensory deprivation
Munch
An informal meeting or party, often at a public place, where people interested in BDSM can mingle.
N
Nanny
A rather British form of role play. Not so prevalent these days, but many men wish to regress to the nursery where Nanny holds complete control. Control enforced with the hair brush and junior cane. A lot of time Nanny’s charge would find himself over her knee, perhaps feeling her starched apron rubbing against his naked skin.
Needle Play
A practice that has to be scrupulously hygienic. This form of play usually involves the insertion of sterile needles into the scrotum.
Negotiation
What a professional Mistress will go through with a sub prior to a session. This will take the form of the limits of the session, in terms of the severity of the Corporal Punishment, The roles of each person, total obedience of the sub, preferences and forms of the fantasy like words the sub is excited by and also what the Dom will NOT do.

Obey (Magazine)
One of the few femdom magazines on the market. If you are a sub and lover of dominant women, you would buy every copy you could get your hands on according to my sub. Stories and pictures had variety and many featured a domineering wife taking her husband to task.
Objectification
The sub is dehumanised, willing to be treated as an animal, slave, furniture or what the Dom demands.
Omnisexual
A sexual attraction to the two main genders.
Orgasm Denial
As it says on the tin and at the command of the Dom.
Outdoor Play
I can indulge you with outdoor sessions, perhaps you fancy being a sissy in the woods with your Mistress? An exciting play because of the fear of being found out. This play requires plenty of notice and an increased tribute.
Owned
When a Mistress or Master takes on a sub in a long-term relationship.
P
Paddle
There are such a variety of paddles. In the main they come as leather or wood. I have many, even a small one designed to smack your balls. Wood paddles are not for the faint hearted. The thickness and weight can deliver a great deal of pain. Leather less so and a charming factor can be the two sided paddle, the hard leather on one side, some soft material on the others side, spanks and strokes.
Painslut
Like many of my clients, a sub addicted to the joys of Corporal Punishment.
Pansexual
One who is attracted to all genders. There’s another word for that isn’t there?
Pearl Necklace
When a male ejaculates onto the neck and the semen drops resemble pearls. A lot of licence with such an image.
Pegging
The wearing of a strapon dildo. The sub is bend over in a delightfully submissive manner and then fucked anally. A nice touch is when the sub is strapped down and the Mistress uses the straps for extra leverage.
Pet Play
Takes more than one form from a puppy to a pony. The sub sees themselves as a pet to the Dom.
Phoenix (Spanking Magazine)
One of the lesser-known spanking magazines. Well worth seeking out for delightfully punished bottoms
Play
A term used to describe the BDSM acts themselves.
Play Party
A social gathering where guests can engage in BDSM activity.
Player
Someone we could describe in the old days as a tart.
Play Space
My chambers or a dungeon. Wherever you indulge your kink can be a Play Space.
Plimsol
Used mainly at school, a plimsol spanking is one to fear. Plimsols have a nostalgic pleasure for many who love schoolboy play.
Polysexual
A person happy to have sex with multiple partners without commitment.
P.O.V.
Point of View. Used in videos where those being filmed ‘interacts’ with the viewer.
Privilege Club (Magazine)
This was offered by Janus and was a contact club where you could hook up, mainly for male/male spanking.
Pro Domme
A woman who is a professional top and dominant.
Protocol
A rule or rules that people practicing BDSM agree to follow.
Pony Play
The sub is a horse and is ‘ridden’ by the Dom. Some Mistresses are equipped with all the paraphernalia to ride or have small horse carriages for the sub to pull them in.
Puppy Play
Says what it is. A sub that likes to be a puppy and hopefully amuses a Dom.
Q
Queening
Another term for a Mistress sitting on the sub’s face.
R
R.A.C.K
Risk, Aware, Consensual Kink. You’ll find all professional Mistresses practice this and if you are doing such practices at home with a partner, you will be too.
Riding Crop
The tip or tongue of the crop is useful for precise infliction of pain. I enjoy giving rapid bursts with a crop, which makes the sub concentrate on his predicament.
Rimming
Licking or poking the anus. NOT something I indulge.
Ring Gag
Usually to keep the mouth open and therefore unable to close when a dildo or penis is inserted.
Role Play
When one or more people take on a different identity during a scene e.g. teacher-schoolboy/schoolgirl, nurse-patient, or manager-employee, relative-boy.
Roman Showers
Vomit. Not something I do.
Roue (Spanking Magazine)
Along with Janus, Blushes and Uniform Girls my sub’s favourite. Everyday girls with their panties down and glowing red bottoms. Well worth collecting.
Rubber Mistress
A Mistress mainly garbed in rubber or latex. The sub can also me encased in rubber such as a simple rubber MackIntosh coat. The aroma and feel is most exciting.
S
Sadism and Masochism
This subset of BDSM involves inflicting pain or humiliation for the purpose of pleasure or sexual gratification.
Sadist
A person who enjoys or becomes sexually aroused by inflicting pain or humiliation on someone else.
Safe, Sane, and Consensual (SSC)
This phrase describes what the BDSM community considers ethical behavior. Kink enthusiasts stress that activities must always be safe, sane, and consensual.
Safe Word
An agreed upon word or phrase that a bottom, sub, or slave can say during a scene to stop the activity or session immediately. Some common safe words are “red,” “red light,” “pineapple,” and “banana.” I do not use safe words.
Sapiosexuality
Attraction to a person’s intelligence.
Scat (Play)
Excrement. NOT something I do.
Scene
The actual BDSM activities or encounters that take place are known as a scene.
Sensory Deprivation
Depriving a sub of all their senses using hoods, blindfolds, ear plugs. Requires a great level of trust.
Session
Another way of referring to BDSM playtime.
Sex Magick
A ritual sexual act in the main. Can be done without sexual purpose.
School Scene
Can take many forms and usually involved the sub schoolboy bent over my traditional school desk with his trousers and pants around his ankles taking a caning from a strict headmistress. The tables can be turned, as I am a switch, therefore I can dress as a schoolgirl, take the position and pull my white panties down to my upper thighs.
Service-Oriented
A person gaining pleasure from performing services. Can be BDSM orientated or sometimes not.
Shibari
A western term for rope bondage from Japan. Known as Kinbaku in Japan.
Show Canes
Made of fibreglass these canes are at the top level of pain-givers.
Singapore Prison Canes
Made of rattan these are the Rolls Royce of the caning world. Usually available in junior and senior versions along with a reformatory version. These canes are for serious players.
Single Tail Whip
These can be quite vicious. Best handled by an experienced Dom and inflicted on a heavy-duty sub.
Sissy/Sissification
The dressing up of the male client in feminine attire, usually encompaing pretty panties, stockings and other lingerie. A dress and high heels completes the ensemble. The sissy is usually a slut in need of spanking, caning and more. Some sissies enjoy force-bi scenes (because they are sluts) which would involve sucking on real cock till their mouth is full of hot cum.
Sjambok
A real Sjambok is made from adult hippopotamus or rhinoceros hide, accept no substitute. From Afrikaans in South Africa and used for formal punishments.
Slave
A sub that gives complete control to the Mistress. This can be non-sexual.
Slippering
A domestic implement, the slipper was common in schools and wielded by Masters, prefects and Matron. Bent over my lap, you can enjoy the sensation of different slippers. Stings and makes bottoms rosy red.
Snake Whip
Usually refers to a single tail whip and usually with a solid handle.

An interesting word that a sub will recognise as where they go mentally during a session. ‘Like being in a dream’ or ‘I felt I was floating’. This is the natural (endorphin fuelled) high attained in a session. This is something I encourage and work towards for my clients. There are several factors including physical pain (a well caned bottom), the space (ambience), the tone and dominance of the Mistress and the sub’s willingness to give their pain for the pleasure of the Mistress.
Suckers
Used on the nipples for stimulation, a gentle alternative to pegs and clamps. Made from silicon and looking like a mini bulb, squeeze and apply. The soft vacuum draws blood to the surface and makes the nipples very sensitive.
Suspension
The sub is totally suspended off the ground with the use of rope or straps.

Sometimes spelt as taws. A traditional Scottish instrument of punishment applied to the buttocks and hands. Leather of various thicknesses are used. Usually they have two tails but three-tailed tawses are common. The Lochgelly Tawse is the most well known and packs a considerable punch. Post session you will be sore and stinging with heavy redness of the buttocks.
Texas Prison Strap
For serious players as this strap is usually twice the thickness of the Canadian Prison Strap and made from heavy-duty leather. You will feel well punished, your bottom ablaze and sore for days after a session.

Like a wheel you use to mark out ravioli but this one is a pinwheel, very erotic to run over the skin (invented by a neurologist Robert Wartenberg to test nerve reactions). Especially good to run over the buttocks or lower back, also the inner thighs and ball sack.
Wax Play
You have to be sure to have the right candle was for this type of play. The wax should be of a low burning point. The Dom then drips the hot wax on to different parts of the body.
Weals (Cane)
Cane weals are the most thrilling parts of BDSM play. The raised red welts excite the dom and the sub.
Whip
Whips come in several forms. The single-tail being the most commong along with the dressage whip these implements give a thin, sharp and almost ‘cutting’ sensation. For the experienced sub who values different pain types and loves to see thin weals on their bottom.

Winchester Position
A true corporal punishment enthusiast will be aware of this term, used at Winchester public school for generations. Two chairs are placed back-to-back.
